This Night Your Life Will Be Demanded of You

This Sunday we hear God say in a parable, "'You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?' Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God.” (Lk. 12:20-21) Why not get together and share how this and the rest of the Sundayreadings help us to build up a wealth of what matters to God?

We will meet at the usual time of 7pm in the West Conference Room (accessible from St. Matthews Court NW on the west side of the Cathedral).

This Week's Icebreaker

This week's ice breaker will be "When was the last time you lit a candle?"

Breaking Open the Word

Breaking Open The Word is an informal discussion on the readings for the upcoming Sunday. No expertise is needed. BOW meets in the West Conference Room accessible from St. Matthews Courton the west side of the Cathedral. The discussion begins at 7pm and runs for about an hour, finishing at 8pm. The first BOW of every month is BYO Buffet night where everyone attending is welcome, but not required, to bring some food to share. We begin the meeting at 6:30pm on BYO Buffet nights so there is time to eat before the Bible discussion begins at 7pm.
