In an effort to end the practice of late-term abortion at the Germantown Reproductive Health Services clinic, the Archdiocese of Washington and the Archdiocese of Baltimore, in collaboration with the MD Coalition for Life, will unite in a 9-day prayer campaign, Summer of Mercy 2.0, from July 30–August 7. (Download additional information on this campaign.) St. Matthew's is the site of one of three Masses to be held as part of the campaign. Here is the evening's schedule:

5:30pm – Mass at the Cathedral celebrated by Fr. Patrick Riffle

6pm – Rosary procession to Planned Parenthood, 16th Street, NW

6:30pm – Rooftop Happy Hour at the Catholic Information Center, K Street, NW
