Join the parishioners of St Matthew in a day of service with Greater DC Cares Servathon on April 16th! This is the Washington area's largest day of service with over 8,000 people volunteering to clean up local schools and nonprofits. All service will take place between 9:30 - 1:30pm with an after party for volunteers from 1:30 -4:30pm. The service location will be determined before the event (near metro access) and volunteers notified. Servathon has an 19-year history of bringing together thousands of area volunteers for two extraordinary days of service. Volunteers who participate in Servathon have the opportunity to make a lasting impact at nonprofits and schools in our region.

We will be painting, cleaning, landscaping, and revitalizing from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. We will then all gather for an after party full of fun, prizes, inspiration, and food from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.! This is a great opportunity to connect with volunteers and to give back to our DC community.

4) Accept the Volunteer Waiver
5) Click Join a Team
6) Select the St. Matthew's Team from the drop-down menu
7) Add your personal contact information and you will be registered!

If you aren't available to volunteer on April 16th, you can still support efforts by making a donation to improve nonprofits and schools in the region throughout the year.
