All are welcome to the Book Club meeting on Monday, May 12 at 6:45pm in the West Conference Room to discuss St. Hildegard of Bingen, Doctor of the Church: A Spiritual Reader by Carmen Acevedo Butcher (Paraclete Press, 2013).

This book includes an introduction to St. Hildegard’s life and era and includes selections from her songs, theological texts, liturgical music, and letters.  On October 7, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI declared Hildegard a saint and only the fourth female Doctor of the Church.
