In commemoration of Earth Day, the Social Justice & Community Services Committee will screen the documentary They Killed Sister Dorothy, on Friday, April 23. This award-winning documentary tells the story of the murder of Sister Dorothy Stang, a 73-year old Sister of Notre Dame de Namur from Ohio who was murdered in the Brazilian Amazon.

They Killed Sister Dorothy introduces us to her three decades of mission in the remote Amazon resisting ecological crimes and injustice, and follows the trial of those who conspired to silence her. Please join us for this movie night on April 23 at 7pm in the North Conference Room.
