Archdiocesan Mass celebrated at the Cathedral by Msgr. Charles Pope, followed by a prayerful procession to the Planned Parenthood facility on 16th Street, NW.
As Pope John Paul II urges in the Gospel of Life, "a great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world." With more than 40 percent of all pregnancies in the District of Columbia ending in abortion, an urgent prayer is desperately needed in our nation's capitol.
Mark your calendar to join us on Saturday, January 8 for an Archdiocesan Mass and procession in witness of the dignity of every human life. Msgr. Charles Pope, Pastor of Holy Comforter/St. Cyprian, will celebrate Mass then lead us in prayerful procession to the Planned Parenthood facility on 16th Street in Northwest Washington.
