In connection with the October Marine Corps Marathon / 10K, on the weekend of July 28-29, St. Matthew's Run for Vocations team will collect donations after the 5:30pm Vigil Mass, and the Sunday 10am, 11:30am, and 5:30pm Masses, in the form of cash or check payable to "Archdiocese of Washington." 

Run for Vocations is a 12-year-old ministry that supports vocations by raising funds to assist seminarians with unanticipated expenses. Laypeople, religious and clergy from around the Archdiocese of Washington have teamed up to Run for Vocations in October’s Marine Corps Marathon /10K. The St. Matthew’s Team has committed to raising at least $250 per person ($500 for the marathoners) to support our Archdiocesan seminarians, and we invite you to support this mission by mak-ing an offering.

 Can’t make it to Mass that weekend? Please drop off your donation in the Rectory or visit https://www.adw.org/vocations/runforvocations_donate.asp (specify that the donation is for the St. Matthew’s Team). For more details, speak to seminarians and runners in person after Mass on July 28 and 29.
