Monday, May 26, is Memorial Day, a federal holiday. Masses will be celebrated at 8am and 12:10pm only, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation will not be celebrated. The Cathedral will close at 1pm and the Rectory offices will be closed.

The Most Rev. Martin D. Holley will celebrate the Annual Memorial Day Mass at Mount Olivet Cemetery (1300 Bladensburg Rd, NE, Wash-ington, DC) on Monday, May 26 at 10am. All are invited as we honor the memory of deceased friends and loved ones, including Msgr. Gerhardt and Deacon Rice, both of whom are buried at Mt. Olivet. In the event of rain, Mass will be celebrated under a tent.
