Annual Health & Wellness Fair at St. Matthew's

This year’s Health & Wellness Fair will take place on Sunday, September 15 from 9am till 3:30pm. The fair will address women’s health, cancer prevention, diabetes, nutrition, mental health, dental, health consultations and more. Further details will be made available closer to the date. If you are interested in volunteering with the planning of the health fair or would like to volunteer on the day of the event, please email Gregg Glotnis, Social Justice Co-chair, at gglotnis@verizon.net. The next planning meeting will take place on Monday, June 3 at 7pm at the rectory.

Update on This Year's Participants

"We are pleased to announce that the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind will be sending their I-Van to this year's Health and Wellness Fair. CLB has recruited Catholic Charities, American Diabetes Association, Lion's Club and My Eye Doctor (which offers low cost referrals) to support the I-Van. Exams will be performed by a low vision optometrist who will conduct:

-Comprehensive eye exams with refractions
-Low vision exams and device demonstrations
-Diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma testing
-Vision screenings
