Good Friday Noon Reflection & 1pm Liturgy of the Lord's Passion
All are welcome and encouraged to join St. Matthew's parish family on Good Friday, March 29, for the celebration of Good Friday of The Lord's Passion, beginning at 12 o'clock Noon with a Reflection on the Seven Last Words of Christ by Rev. Thomas H. Smolich, S.J., President of the Jesuit Conference of the United States, with the Schola Cantorum. Following the Noon Reflection, at 1pm, Donald Cardinal Wuerl will celebrate the Liturgy of the Lord's Passion during which the congregation will have the opportunity for Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion. Note that Confessions are available today from 11am until Noon, with eight confessors available in both English and Spanish.
