Join the Community of St. Egidio for vespers (Evening Prayer) in the St. Anthony Chapel from 6:30 to 7pm. A brainstorming session will follow in the North Conference room to share ideas/opinions as a follow up to the recent panel discussion against the death penalty. We will discuss what can be accomplished this coming year to raise awareness, as well as how we can take concrete initiatives to work towards the abolition of the death penalty in the States of Maryland and Virginia! Our friends from the Community of St. Egidio will also share how they live the tradition of the Christmas meal with the poor all around the world. All are welcomed to this 'friendship' gathering. Snacks and refreshment will be served.
