Please join the Community of Sant'Egidio for evening prayer in St. Anthony’s Chapel at 6:30pm. Following prayer, there will be a presentation and discussion with Anne Feczko from Catholic Mobilization Network (CMN) on Restorative Justice.  Restorative Justice is a community centered approach to justice which views crime as a violation of people and relationships, rather than simply a violation of law.  Restorative Justice focuses on the victims’ needs and the offender's responsibility to repair harm and foster healing. The presentation will discuss the definition of Restorative Justice, the Church's teachings on the subject, why as Christians we are compelled to address this issue within our criminal justice system and ways for people to become involved and engaged.
