This Sunday we will hear in the Gospel of St. John "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him." (Jn. 6:36) Why not get together on Wednesday, June 18 to share how this and the other readings from the coming Sunday show us the possible obstacles in our Christian lives?
We will meet at 7pm in West Conference Room (accessible from St. Matthew's Court on the west side of the Cathedral).
Come ready for this week's ice breaker!
Breaking Open the Word
Breaking Open The Word is an informal discussion on the readings for the upcoming Sunday. No expertise is needed. Copies of the readings are provided each week.
BOW meets in the West Conference Room accessible from St. Matthew' Court on the west side of the Cathedral. The meeting normally begins at 7pm, and runs for about an hour, finishing at 8pm. The first BOW of every month is BYO Buffet night when everyone attending is invited (but not required) to bring some food to share. We begin the meeting at 6:30pm on BYO Buffet nights so there is time to eat before beginning our Scripture discussion at 7pm.
