BOW Returns June 11
Breaking Open the Word (BOW) resumes on June 11 with a BYO Buffet night beginning at 6:30pm in the West Conference Room (accessible from St. Matthew's Court on the west side of the Cathedral). Join us for a discussion of the readings from Pentecost Sunday, June 8. Copies of the readings are provided. Attendees are invited, but not required, to bring food to share at the beginning of our meeting. Contact Nathan Krieg at ntkrieg@gmail.com if you have questions.
This week's ice breaker: "What was the last spicy thing you ate?"
Breaking Open the Word
Breaking Open The Word is an informal discussion on the readings for the upcoming Sunday (the June 11 meeting, when the focus will be on the prior Sunday's readings, is an exception to this). No expertise is needed. Copies of the readings are provided.
BOW meets in the West Conference Room accessible from St. Matthew' Court on the west side of the Cathedral. The meeting normally begins at 7pm, and runs for about an hour, finishing at 8pm. The first BOW of every month, and the June 11 meeting, are BYO Buffet nights when everyone attending is invited (but not required) to bring some food to share. We begin the meeting at 6:30pm on BYO Buffet nights so there is time to eat before beginning our Scripture discussion at 7pm.
