COVID-19 Food Drive for Assumption Parish
The Knights of Columbus Potomac Council and St. Matthew's Cathedral are hosting a food drive for our friends of Assumption Parish and the food pantry that serves many families in need in SE DC.
We are all aware that these are difficult times for many, join in these efforts to help alleviate the need of those who are struggling by donating items from the list found here.
Donors are asked to follow the guidelines when dropping off food donations by car. If you are dropping off food donations by foot, please wear a mask and gloves.
Volunteers from the Knights of Columbus will be in front of the Cathedral steps on Thursday, June 11 from 11:00am to 6:00pm.

Colecta de alimentos para la parroquia Asunción
El Consejo de Potomac de los Caballeros de Colón y la Catedral de San Mateo están organizando una campaña de comida para nuestros amigos de la Parroquia de la Asunción y la despensa de comida que sirve a muchas familias necesitadas en SE DC.
Todos somos conscientes de que estos son tiempos difíciles para muchos, únete a estos esfuerzos para ayudar a aliviar la necesidad de aquellos que están luchando al donar artículos de la lista que se encuentra aquí: arroz, frijoles, puré de papa, latas de vegetales, macaron con queso, fideos, avena, latas de sopa de carne, mezcla para panqueques, cereales de desayuno.
Se les pide a los donantes que sigan las pautas de distancia social cuando entreguen donaciones de alimentos en automóvil. Si va a dejar donaciones de alimentos a pie, use una mascarilla.
Los voluntarios de Caballeros de Colón estarán frente a los escalones de la Catedral el jueves 11 de junio de 11:00 de la mañana a 6:00 de la tarde.
