Faith in Democracy Interfaith Prayer Vigil
Join us Sunday, January 5, at 3:15pm.
The St. Matthew’s Care for Creation Green Team will attend the Faith in Democracy Interfaith Prayer Vigil on the National Mall. We will assemble at 3:15 on the Mall-side steps of the National Gallery of Art (west wing) at 7th St. You can also participate via livestream.
The Franciscan Action Network is partnering with faith leaders and believers from a variety of traditions, all speaking from sacred texts which guide us to protect the rights of all and to resolve our differences without violence. In the United States, our way of doing that is through a properly functioning and fully representative democracy.
