Come to a set of classes on Jesus’ way of transforming suffering.
December 10 and December 17, 7– 8:30pm, in the East Conference Room.
Suffering is a part of everyone’s life: a mild headache, an argument with your spouse, a medical crisis, daily unfocused anxiety.
The way of Jesus, the way of Gospel-based mysticism – presence, inner silence, awareness, and sinking into the nothingness of God – changes our suffering. In fact, our pain becomes a moment to awaken to the Mystery.
We will learn how to work through resentment, grievance, offense, unforgiveness, grief, and fear. The more we let go of our identification with the stories and emotions behind the pain, the more our suffering eases and becomes the peace of God.
In these evening classes, you will discover how our hardest and most painful experiences can become doorways to divine life. For more information contact L. J. Milone.
