On Holy Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 8pm, Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, celebrates the Easter Vigil, ranked by the Church as "the mother of all vigils."  The Vigil is celebrated in English and Spanish.

At this beautiful liturgy, 25 people will receive the sacraments of initiation and will be welcomed into the Church, including 14 who will be baptized. Please keep them in your prayers as we welcome them - new life in the Body of Christ!

Members of the Schola Cantorum accompany the liturgy. 

The Cathedral opens at 7:00pm for the Easter Vigil.

• 9:00am | Morning Prayer in the St. Anthony Chapel
• 11:00am - 12 Noon | Confessions
• 12 Noon The Cathedral closes and reopens at 7:00pm.
• † 8:00pm | Easter Vigil (bilingual in English & Spanish), Cardinal Wilton Gregory (Schola Cantorum) (The Cathedral closes immediately after the Vigil.)
