Rev. Jimmy Hsu, CSP delivers a Reflection on the Lord's Passion at Noon on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, joined by members of St. Matthew's Schola Cantorum, for our traditional commemoration of the Lord’s Passion. Following the Reflection, at 1pm Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, celebrates the Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord. Join us in the Cathedral for the Noon Reflection and the 1pm Liturgy.
There is no Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament or 12:10pm Mass today.
About Rev. Jimmy Hsu, CSP
Paulist Father Yao "Jimmy" Hsu is a regular Mass celebrant at the Cathedral. He is currently seeking a degree in canon law at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Fr. Jimmy met the Paulist Fathers at the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his bachelor's degree.
He served as an associate pastor at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Community in Los Angeles (2014 to 2016); associate director of the University Catholic Center in Austin, TX (2016 to 2020); and associate director of the St. Thomas More Newman Center in Columbus, OH (2020 to 2022).
