DC Public Safety: Let’s Discuss!

If you live in DC and venture outside more than once a year, chances are you care about safety. Let’s be real, regardless of what you think about crime and policing, at some level you are thinking about them. So let’s talk!
On Tuesday, April 18 at 6:30pm, St. Matthew’s Social Justice Committee (SJC) hosts an informal discussion on public safety in Washington, DC.
The purpose of the meeting is to prepare Washington Interfaith Network members for WIN's upcoming meeting on public safety with Ward 2 Councilmember Brook Pinto, scheduled for Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
SJC is hosting this discussion to help WIN members and others to better understand the policy positions that Washington Interfaith Network is advocating prior to presenting them as a larger interfaith group to one of our elected representatives.
If you want to learn more about public safety and take part in a constructive discussion of this hard topic—let’s face it, it’s hard— come join us in the North Conference Room!
