Book Reading and Signing—"The Faith of Jesus"

Parishioner and former Catholic University of America professor Jim Nash reads from his new book, "The Faith of Jesus: Questions from the 21st Century," and answers your questions, on Sunday, November 27 at 12Noon in the Great Hall.

Parishioner and former CUA professor Jim Nash has written a book inspired by his work with St. Matthew’s Monday Morning Program. After our guests finished their breakfast, for many years Jim led a discussion of the gospel heard in church on Sunday. When the discussions stopped during the Covid pandemic, he wrote a book based, in part, on what he learned from these discussions. The book consists of questions and reflections on all the Sunday readings for Year A, which begins November 27.  Come to the Great Hall on Sunday, November 27 at 12Noon, and listen to Jim read from his book, explain how our unhoused guests helped change his life, and answer questions on his new book.
