The Eucharist: Embracing and Sharing in Christ’s Profound Love for Us

Christ earnestly desires to be one with us, especially through the sacred meal that is the Mass.

This year's Liturgical Ministry Day on Saturday, October 8, 2022, is open to everyone. All are welcome, but we especially hope that current and prospective liturgical ministers (EMCs, lectors, altar servers and hospitality ministers) will attend this mini-retreat, from 9am to 12 Noon.

The day begins with morning prayer in Our Lady’s Chapel, followed by a talk by Thomas Stehle, St. Matthew's Pastoral Associate for Liturgy and Director of Music Ministries, in the North Conference Room. Tom will explore Pope Francis’ recent Apostolic Letter on the liturgy – a beautiful and important new teaching by our Holy Father. Light refreshments will be served.

Individual training for new liturgical ministers will occur in the last hour.

Facial masks are optional.
