The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process for adults who want to explore the Catholic faith and to become fully initiated members of the Catholic Church. View the RCIA flier.
The goal of the RCIA process is full, conscious, and active participation in the Catholic way of life. RCIA helps adults to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, become familiar with Catholic teachings and practices, and get to know the faith community in preparation for making the conscious choice to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
RCIA meets every Wednesday evening from 7 to 9pm. Contact Theresa Prymuszewski, Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation, at tprymuszewski or 202-587-5139 for more information.
If you know someone who might be interested in becoming a fully initiated member of the Church, will you please share the RCIA flier with them?
